Enjoy dinner and a movie, at the movies. It’s been something everyone has hoped to do since dinner-and-a-movie dates became a thing.
Now, after a year searching for the perfect partner, Eclipse Theaters has chosen the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas to help provide guests with an opportunity to dine in and discover new, independent film projects, mini-concerts, intimate comedy shows, and private events.
On Monday’s radio show, How Hospitality Works, special guest Nic Steele of Eclipse Theaters shared what hopes he has for the luxurious new theater, slated to open summer 2016.
Culinary Academy of Las Vegas CEO Chris Fava says, “we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this special project with Eclipse Theaters … this luxury theater destination will be an icon for all of Las Vegas and it expands our ability to execute on all aspects of our mission statement.”
Eight screens will show both Hollywood and independent films while guests will have catered service available at their beck and call. This exclusive atmosphere hosts no concession which means no lines for popcorn or drinks. Instead, you’ll be served an array of foods from slider and chicken lollipops to crème brûlée and cheesecake. At Eclipse, you won’t have to think about going to two separate establishments to have one night out – the goal is to make everything accessible in one location. The available bar, restaurant, lounge and outdoor patio, and soon-to-come “21 Greens” indoor golf simulator, entices guests even further.
Serving as a multi-purpose global venue will allow the Eclipse Theaters to offer one of a kind experiences for locals, tourists, conventions, corporations and red carpet events.
Mr. Steel says “Galaxy [theaters] was great 3 years ago – we’re stepping it up on the customer service standpoint. We want to take care of you.” Nic Steele hopes that Eclipse Theater can provide and exclusive experience for all of its guests while engaging and reaching out to the community by offering exceptional employment opportunities.
CALV is happy to say we are the official caterer for Eclipse Theater. Our very own Chefs Jon Stokes and Patrick Simon have developed an amazing experience for visitors. “Creating a menu of small cultural bites that entices the palate and encourages the curiosity of the movie-goer to explore the variety of diverse cuisine at Eclipse is exciting, new and adventurous,” said Executive Chef Jon Stokes. We’re happy to share that this partnership opens up opportunities for individuals who are currently training for internships and jobs. CALV is ready to provide high quality hospitality.
