**Partnership increases training and employment opportunities for incumbent and new entrant workers **
LAS VEGAS – February 5, 2016 – The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas is excited to announce Hilton Grand Vacations Las Vegas as its newest private sector hospitality partner. The partnership brings the number of private hotel partners to thirty-two Las Vegas strip properties.
“We are excited to share this facility with Hilton Grand Vacations Las Vegas; specifically the employees; who will benefit from the Academy; which is well suited to train and develop them in any role they desire to pursue” said David Hoenemeyer, Culinary Academy of Las Vegas Board Chair.
Hilton Grand Vacations takes pride in their team members; offering an array of unique benefits. This partnership is considered an added benefit because Hilton Grand Vacation team members now have increased opportunities for development and growth by participating in the free training courses offered at the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas.

Individuals interested in attending the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas can attend the weekly orientation each Monday at 10 a.m. on the Academy campus The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas offers post-secondary training in 12 different hospitality positions, from guest room attendant and house person to steward and professional cook.

Founded in 1993, the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, the country’s leading nonprofit culinary and hospitality training institute, was developed through a joint labor-management trust representing private sector employers, the Culinary Union Local 226 and the Bartenders Union Local 165. The Academy is licensed by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education and trains several thousand students per year for participating employers in the hospitality industry.
